Vera Wang experience

I'm getting married!! (YAY) And being a control freak bridezilla I am, I have made tons of plans ahead of time. My wedding is scheduled to be end 2015 and that basically leaves me to 2 years of planning that perfect wedding. Anyway, the moment I knew I was gonna get married (or might I say, even before I knew I was gonna), the first thing that got to my mind is my gown! I have for several years, been eyeing for Vera Wang. I used to like Oscar and Marchesa but Vera.. oh Vera, I have been most faithful to eyeing that brand. So, when my fiancé and his family are planning to go to the US for a holiday, I made us of that opportunity to book Vera flagship store at Melrose Avenue. Here goes the story:

I booked an appointment almost 1 month before I visited the US. I have this habit of calling every possible places I want to visit even though they are overseas and I probably only going to visit them in 6 months time (again, I'm a control freak). So, they said they were going to send me a confirmation email which they didn't (but I later on find out that the email bounced back) so I called around an hour before my actual appointment. I was so glad, I was still in their system because oh boy, if i hadn't I would probably cried my eyes out.

I came about half an hour early and was greeted by Miranda. Since they still have a customer, they showed me and my bridal party (my fiancé, his mom n his sister), to the corner of the room and offered us a drink (choice of coffee, tea, water or CHAMPAGNE). I opted for water but that's just because I want to be sane when choosing my gown. When my time comes, David ( the best salesperson you could ever met) helped me choosing my gown. He asked my budget and at first I said I have none so he said our gowns started from $6000 to $25000. But then I alr knew what I wanted and knew it didn't cost that much so I gave him $12000 just to be safe.

Here are some of the gowns that I tried but didn't choose because even though they are perfect, I'm only allowed to choose 1 (or at most 2) :(

I tried 4 types of gowns but while 1 made it to be the gown I'm going to wed in, the other is a potential evening gown so I can't show it here.
