So, here it is:
1. Bukit Purmai Lor Mee
I wasn't a fan of this thing when I tried the first time. But for some reason after the second attempt, I began to grow some love for this food. My bf on the other hand is a hard core fan of this food, I believe that if he could go to eat there every day, he would.
Now, food wise: I only eat their fish cake and their hand made crumbs (-- the hand made crumbs is the one that distinguish them from any other lor mee). However, your choice can be extended to their BBQ pork + Roast Pork. Btw, if you are like me (read: a fuzzy eater who hates bean sprout), then you could request NO BEAN SPROUT PLEASE when you are ordering and please do remind yourself every time you go.

Still remember the first day I touched Singapore and my bf brought me to eat Nasi Lemak at 2AM in the morning. of course, i grew very fond of Nasi lemak ever since. My choice of nasi lemak isn't exactly the healthiest nor the most authentic one. But whatever, I enjoy the chili like super damn a lot. (now i sound singaporean much? lol)

Now I have to say this is one of the best hotpot I have eaten in Sg. If you are like me and always want the best of both worlds (like miley cyrus always say), then you probably would like a combo of steam boat and chicken rice in one meal!!
If I am not wrong, the requirement to be a good chicken rice lies within the rice and the chili. In that sense, this place is awesome!
Call me weird but I love KFC cheesy fries. I still don't understand why instead of that dodgy tasting sweet potato fries, OZ KFC make this awesome fries instead. I would be a true blue KFC fan !!

5. Ban Mian
As any singaporean would say, Ban Mian is a safe choice if you don't know what to eat in some foreign hawker centre. For me, this was the food I fell in love instantly! my first experience was at the marina bay sand food court but I soon realise, any place that sells it is as good. totally<3 <3 <3
